After last week’s Tuesday Tip of the Week, a friend emailed me that she had recently been challenged by someone with this statement:

Will you be ready when you get what you've always been hoping for?

My question to you…are you ready for your dreams to come true?  If you want to be a published author, is your manuscript written?  If you want a television show, do you currently have a YouTube channel to show your onscreen presence?  If you want a new job, have you researched and are prepared to start that new job? 

One of my favorite movies is Facing the Giants because it shows a small high school football team that faces the Richland Giants to win the state championship.  In that movie, there is a scene where a man asks the football coach:

During our patient waiting times, we cannot sit around and “wait” for something to happen.  We have to be preparing our “fields” for our dreams to come true. 

As a word of caution, do not “birth” something to soon.  Dreams, vision and goals are all about timing.  You have to be prepared and know when it is time to move and when it is time to wait.
