Terri's Tuesday Tip of the Week - January 24th

Patience is the art of hoping. – Luc de Clapier

Patience is the companion of wisdom. – Augustine of Hippo

Patience has never been my strongest quality and I can assure you that waiting on dreams to come true requires patience.  At this point in my life, patience is being greatly developed in me!

Through this time of developing my patience, I have learned a lot and know I will have many more opportunities to grow and develop my patience.  Joyce Meyer said:

Patience is not the ability to wait but how you act while you’re waiting.

This statement is so true.  We have the choice how we will wait.  Things take time to happen no matter how hard you are working.  During those waiting times, it is important to have the right attitude and have the right mindset to develop patience.

Why is it important to be patient and enjoy this opportunity of waiting?  This quote should give us all hope of why patience will pay off in the long run:

When things don’t happen right away just remember it takes 6 months to build a Rolls-Royce and 13 hours to build a Toyota. - Unknown

CHALLENGE: How are you waiting…patiently or as a spastic individual hoping things change immediately?  Depending on your answer, what changes can you make in your life to have a more peaceful and patient time of waiting?

Next week, Terri’s Tuesday Tip of the Week will discuss what to do during the waiting periods where your patience is developing.

  1. So good & true!!! How you wait determines your experience during your waiting period. You can either drown yourself in pity or approach it boldness & know that at some point the waiting ends. When your waiting period is over, your attitude will impact how you will seize your next opportunity. One of my friends recently asked me, "will you be ready when you get what you've always been hoping for?" If we focus on the wait, there's no way possible to be ready for the next level!
