Terri's Tuesday Tip of the Week - October 28th

“I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game-winning shot ... and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that's precisely why I succeed.” -  Michael Jordan, US basketball player

Michael Jordan is considered the greatest basketball player of all time.  He won 5 MVP awards, 10 All-NBA 1st designations, 14 NBA All Star-Game appearances, 3 MVP All Star Game Awards, 10 scoring titles, etc.  He did not achieve all of these titles (and many more) by waiting on others to take him there.  When he made mistakes or challenges came at him, he REBOUNDED and pushed forward.  He did not listen to other people.  He kept practicing, kept failing forward and WON!

What are you dealing with today?  Are you being resilient and rebounding in life?  Today, take action, determine a plan to rebound and GO FOR IT!

Steps to…
R – REMIND yourself who you are.
E – Focus your ENERGY on what’s important!
                B – BELIEVE in yourself!
O – OPPORTUNITY to evaluate if you need to make a change…
U – UNDERSTAND that “hurting people hurt people”
N – Have a strong, trusted NETWORK of confidants to talk to….
D – DETERMINE to have an amazing, fun life!
