Terri's Tuesday Tip of the Week - March 8, 2022

As the reader was contemplating if they needed a coach in this season of their life or if they needed a mentor, what was the decision?  When the author thought about her current situation, she laughed because she is going to have both a coach and mentors. 

This will not be the first time the author had a coach.  During a tough time at work, the author sought out resources that provided her a coach as she was developing as a supervisor.  Also, she was encountering touch situations with management and decided she needed an outside source to give an unbiased opinion.  For the author, she needed the individual that would stand up to her and tell her the situation was not her fault.  The author provided real life situations to the coach and they discussed options and pros and cons to each one.  As mentioned last week, the coach rarely mentioned her personal situation and consistently worked to develop the author.

ACTION: Research this week coaching options in your local area or at your workplace to see if this might be a good opportunity to help you grow.  The author is using a resource that is free through her place of employment.
