Success isn't always about greatness. It's
about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Greatness will come. -
Dwayne Johnson
In baseball, my theory is to strive for
consistency, not to worry about the numbers. If you dwell on statistics you get
shortsighted, if you aim for consistency, the numbers will be there at the end.
– Tom Seaver
Across professions, consistency is a direct
product of work ethic. - Harsha Bhogle

We are less than a week away from the unofficial start of
summer…Memorial Day!
As a strong supporter of the United States Military, I would
ask that you take time this Memorial Day to remember the men and women who have
died while serving in the county’s armed services.
A hero is someone who has given his or her life to
something bigger than oneself. —Joseph Campbell
Summer is a great time for relaxing vacations, fun in the
sun, time with family and friends.
During this time, it is important to continue working towards your dreams
and goals because as Benjamin Disraeli said,
The secret of success is consistency of
purpose.
Here are a couple fun summer ideas to stay consistent with
your dreams and goals to help catapult you to an awesome second part of the
year:
- Take a morning walk on the beach and review your dreams and goals via a picture of your dream board on your phone (benefits of technology!)
- Enjoy the sound of crashing waves (either on the beach or via a sound machine). Research indicates that the sound of waves alters brain activity providing refreshing and rejuvenation to the mind and body.
- Allow your mind to wander. Being away from daily life provides the freedom for new ideas to develop to help you accomplish your dreams and goals.
- Visualize accomplishing your dreams as it allows your mind to come up with ways to overcome obstacles you are facing in life.
Challenge: Enjoy Memorial Day weekend and take time to
rejuvenate so that you are motivated to keep pushing towards your dreams and
goals!
